Extra nice link style navajo concho belt made fo sterling silver 16 individual conchos plus the buckle for a total of 17 conchos as well as 17 individual diamond shaped sterling silver spacers including the latch for the buckle. The conhcos measure approx. 1 by 1 1/4 inches in an oval form and the spacers ( sometimes called butterflies) measure approx. 5/16 by 3/4 inches. The entire belt mesaures approx. 32 inches long. Each and every concho and spacer has a tiny tuquoisite stone. Turquoisite stones were common in this period and are made of the compressed shavings of turquoise from other projects. They have a more matte quality to the stone and wonderful coloring as well.
The spacers are nicely stamped with classic period stamping. The latch is marked, 'sterling and it is not signed as expected for age.
