Old Pawn Silver Navajo 2Nd Phase Concho Belt BuckleUp for auction is a stunning and rare 2nd phase navajo indian concho/cancha belt. It is massive and beautiful. It is all hand wrought and dates to cirac 1890. It has a very rare dragonfly stamp on each one fo the concho's and the buckle. The belt came from a very important collection of very fine items. I am sure this piece has an important provenance. It hsa a nice old patina. The buckle measures a massive 4 x 3. The concho's are 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 1/2 tall. The leather belt is massive and measures 3 3/8 wide and 47 ned of buckle to the tip of the thin belt woven through. The eblt weighs 1lb 10oz total w/leather and concho's. tI is an amazing, rare, and early navajo indian piece that is very sought after. This one is not to be missed. It si fresh out of an old estate and fine collection. |
